For the second consecutive year, UNACEM and its emblematic brand Cemento Andino, is the official sponsor of the junior and reserve categories of the Asociación Deportiva Tarma ADT. This agreement guarantees that qualified personnel will be hired, optimal use of football pitches in the area, the creation of new opportunities for sports participation, and more.
This action adds to the list of initiatives that the company has been promoting for more than 15 years to encourage sport among young Peruvians. An example of this is the creation of Team UNACEM in 2019, a team of sportsmen and women sponsored with aim of improving their training conditions and sports development. In this regard Mr Barrio emphasized that they seek to “leave a legacy in the different sports disciplines in which we can support them, giving a hand to athletes who seek to become models and an inspiration to Peruvians”.
